Hello!
I've just bought a new Android device (my first one, a Prestigio 5770D tablet running Android 4.1.1) and I'm looking forward to unlock its true power. Before I can do that, I read some tutorials (most of them from these forums) and I've got some questions.
1. In none of the tutorials I've read I haven't found any information about what's being modified during the rooting process. So, what's really going on? Are some system files being added? Configuration files being changed?
2. In a tutorial I found a clever method to root my device. They added the "su" binary in the update.zip and on update the device was automatically rooted. I added the "su" binary in my update.zip, but I think I must "sign" the new update.zip. Is there any program that will do this for me?
3. I already have busybox on my device. Can I use it to root my device? It is located in /system/xbin/busybox.
4. Lastest version released by Prestigio is Android 4.1.1. Can I manually upgrade it to 4.2?
5. In some games (usually those released by Gameloft) the image is small (it's about 75% of my screen and it's stuck to the top left corner of my scren). Is there any fix to this? Also some models are white (the textures aren't loaded?).
Any link, hint, tip or trick is appreciated! Thank you!

Also, has anybody succeded in rooting this tablet with Android 4.1.1?
