Samsung infuse 4G missing recovery file

I'm in the process of installing custom firmwares on my phone and I'm at the part where I need to put the modded e3 recovery on my phone. I watched a YouTube video saying I need root explorer to go into the system/bin folder and copy and paste the modded file there along with the original one but the problem is, there is no original recovery file. It's missing and when I put the modded file there it won't boot into the modded recovery. Please help :(
PS: I found the original recovery file but it was in another spot. Should I move it to system/bin,?
