OK, I "searched" (honest) this forum and others but can't find an answer.
I have an El'Cheapo tablet (the Emerson EM543) and it runs OK but not having a regular "rear facing" camera was kinda stupid so I opened it up and flipped the lens over; found where to drill a hole in the rear of the case and then covered the lens with clear packing tape to keep dust out.
However.... the camera image is still mirrored (expected that) and the image is now 90 degrees rotated (expected this also). there has to be a setting somewhere that I can change that will un-mirror and rotate the image. I went to "/system/etc/camera.cfg" hoping this was the file to edit but it didn't work. yes, I was mounted for RW.
Can anyone offer suggestions to help me find a solution?
