Playlists from a rezond to a epic4gtouch

So my mom changed carriers to virgin mobile and needs her playlists from her rezound onto the epic4gtouch. Does she need to recreate them or can I find them in a system folder and just copy them over? From the stock rezound music app to either Google play music or the stock music player. Also, how would one go about extracting text messages from a nandroid. (On a sgs1 vibrant) I am still on the same ROM so they should be real easy to throw back in right?
