[Q] Bulletproof 4.3 Camera & Phone Storage Lock

This is technically 2 questions in one:

I've followed this guide and installed Bulletproof multiple times, each time it locks out Phone storage when it is finished, and I'm unable to move files to the device or use apps that require phone storage.

Also, the camera seems to only work with version 1.9 of bulletproof; I would much prefer the newer 4.3 version. With anything after 1.9 the camera is just black. Nothing.

I've searched thoroughly through the xda forum and others to find a fix but it appears the 'camera fix' was only needed in older version (.16) of certain roms. I'm running the stock sense for At&T on an HTC one. I was using TWRP(2.6.0.1) for flashing and rooting.

Am I missing a step that is locking the phone storage? I appear to not be the only with the camera not working either.
