[Q] S3 mini, full encryption and new Custom OS Rom

Hi all.
I was running a custom Andriod OS 4.2.2 (phone rooted). I also encrypted (full) the phone and SD card. Now I installed CynogenMod 11 through Odin. All went good, I also managed to copy the Gapps.zip to the SD card. But when booting and going into TWR boot manager, I can’t decrypt my SD storage. Which means I can’t install Gapps.
How can I decrypt my phone’s SD card so that I can point TWR boot manager at startup to my SD card?

I'm all set to buy myself a Nexus 6, but can anyone please let me know whether Android 5 will run in landscape? I'm a fan of large phones and always lock my phone permanently in landscape, only ever using portrait for making phone calls or for the few apps that simply refuse to run in landscape. Can anyone please advise me if I will run into any difficulties using the Nexus 6 entirely in landscape? Thanks.

Phone stuck on boot screen. Usb debugging not on

I tried to change pixel density and after rebooting the phone got stuck in the bootscreen . I tried to restore factory settings . I wiped all user data and partition cache. Still it was stuck. The usb debugging was not enabled. I tried to flash recovery but the phone doesn't get detected(I had All the drivers). I downloaded stock rom and tried to install it using "update using sd card", it says "installation aborted". Can u guys tell the method to bring the phone back to it's original state. My phone is micromax canvas unite 2. O.s. Kitkat 4.4.2. IT is rooted but it has stock recovery.

How to get Hearthstone working on Bluestacks? I've followed the instructions for APK and OBB files in this thread if it's of any interest to you however couldn't get it to work.

Has anyone got it to work? Could you give me some step by step instructions?

*if you play Hearthstone you can get many more packs through buying Amazon coins then the packs in the app. This is the reason I'm trying to get this to work.

Hello
I was wondering if it was possible to have an app that will detect when a cover is closed and activate itself?
That is have the app activated when the mobile goes to "sleep" and show some information on the screen, or detect next tap, or something like that.

Hey there,
I tried to root my galaxy s2,
after i rooted, it booted itself and there was a yellow triangle.
After the screen with the yellow triangle the phone shuts down.

what can i do to wake my phone up :(

My alcatel 918N stuck on factory mode volume down & Home Buttons not working there are some options

clear flash
reboot
but i not able to select anything and i tried so many times to flash again and again used lots of flash tools and scatter files, recovery images preloaders , and so on still no use but my phone is responding to adb shells unexpectedly this phone not have fastboot mode and i tried adb shell to reboot into recovery mode still its going into factory mode and i flashed some scatter file and other files it stucking at android logo anyone know the what is problem and any solution plz share according to my knowledge so many people facing this problem

ANDROID PHONE NOT RECOGNIZING MY SD CARD

It just stopped mounting the SD card after I rebooted my phone (a Tecno N3), I tried other SD cards but same result. The SD shows in recovery mood, I have tried all I know to get it working, all to no avail.... Please what can I do? :(:crying::confused::(

Maybe I've gone blind but I can't seem to find any call blacklist feature in Lollipop. It was present in Kitkat (Nexus 5)

I bought a Lg G2 korean version model LG F320L u+ LTE A Recently and i am unable to use internet 2g/3g in india. Its unable to instal gprs settings for the phne and the network operator is replyng that the phne is nt cmpatiable for settings. Is the phone cmpatiable to be used in india or not?. Or it has to be unlockd first? Plz help me to resolve the issue. Its wrkng good over wi fi. Plz help me to instal setings so that i can use internet ovr the network.

[Q] Same app, two versions, two instances, two data folders. is it possible?

Hi, all.
i have a kind especific question here:
how to install two versions of one same application at the same time and keep both versions on a separated data folders?

i like the old version but the new version has some (more) usefull features

the game, named here as "Hello World OLD" and "Hello Word New" have actually the same app name on manifest.xml "HelloWorld"

i've been search for this for few days and finally using APKtool i've those two launchers on my system
but fate is sucks, so both apps uses the same "data folder" /data/data/com.helloworld

what i want to do is just edit it to use /data/data/com.helloworld (to new one, to keep updating from playstore) and /data/data/com.helloworldold (to old one, to keep it update protected and keep saving my OLD-SCHOOL SAVES \o/ )

is it possible?

[Q] Lenovo P780 4GB NOT BOOTING

Hi all, I have a Lenovo P780 4GB that I flashed successfully with SPFT, P780_S125_130529 ROM from needrom.com. from there the phone will not boot but I can see is a red led charging light glowing while connecting it to a computer or charger. The device is not getting recognized by VCOM drivers so no use with flash tool any more. the only thing I see from Device manager is Alcatel Single RNDIS Interface #2. when I plug the phone to the computer I can hear the device connected/disconnected sound, Tried to reboot in to recovery and meta mode but the phone simply does not turn on. Anyone knows how to fix this problem?

Is there any other way I can get the device to change modes or rather a way to get it to be recognized by the PC?

a solution to fix the device will be the best.

Creating APKs

Hello Guys its seems big mess to setting up the things.


Im Install this or that and etc and the things just don`t work sometimes like we expect they to work.

For example im Theme Designer and i never did APK files before.

NOW i want to create a Zooper Clock Widget just for start i already did it BUT now i have to make from this Widget signed APK file in order to be distributed and all other people who use Zooper to be able to install it as a single APK

So any help is welcomed.

I read this tut: http://www.zooper.org/wp/android/zw/apk

and download all the things installed
also this

but its seems like the things don`t wana work at all.

Anyone who can help me with the settings or explain me more is there any other variant to create an APK File?
