Tablet resets settings to factory after reboot

Hello,
I have chinese tablet Irulu eXpro X1, and recently i've tried to root him, i did as is written here : androidtablets.net/threads/allwinner-a33-4-4-2-kitkat-rooted.70443/ and it worked, but after some time i've noticed that tablet after reset are coming to factory settings. Initially i've thought that this is problem with BusyBox ( like this : android.stackexchange.com/questions/52406/why-does-bad-busybox-installation-in-system-xbin-cause-problems ) but deleting BB didn't worked. I've removed root, and did factory reset through recovery, and nothing happens, the problem still exists. Moreover i've noticed that attempting to root tablet again ends up with error, because of complete reset after reboot. Do you have any idea what can i do to fix this issue ?

PS. I'm not native in english, so I'm sorry if i made mistakes.

Hey guys. I dont know how many of you may read this but after google declared google tv support being dead ive ben running in to more and more issues with my tv. So i thought if google and sony which is the google tv that i have,arent going to support the product any more maybe i can jerry rig some thing to compleatly reflash my google tv with android tv or some thing. Im hopeing some one can point me to the right direction on how to start this or give me some ideas on how i can learn to make updates to un supported products like the sony google tv.

SM-J500FN binary locked

I used kingroot on my SM-J500FN, galaxy j5 and after trying to restart the phone i received this FRP lock. I tried using home+power+volume up to delete cache and reset to factory setting but it didn't work. Any way i can get pass this or am i doomed? Also i am completely new to this...

ADB restore doesn't restore after editing

I used ADB to backup, ABE to unpack and edited one of the xml file in the extracted tar.
After that, I used 7-zip to pack the data as a tar and used ABE to pack it as .ab again.

However, it restored nothing in the new .ab file. I was able to restore the old .ab file though.

Can anyone tell me how to restore the new .ab file?

Anyone please help ... i bricked my htc desire 526g+ after installing cwm from mtk droid tools ... its urgent ... if my father asks me my phone ... then i am messed up for sure ... i tried flashing stock rom from sp flash tool via firmware upgrade option but always a error comes after bootloader is flashed ... the error is S SECURITY SECURE USB DL IMAGE HASH FAIL ... anyone help please ...

my phone was bricked and i try use SP flash to flash stock rom but it only run 2% so i have formated it with manual format.
Now i can't start recovery and can connect to sp flash tool.

Good day,

I have a cherry mobile flare s3 lite (spreadtrum SC8830)..the issue started after flashing my device using the upgrade download tool..It's happening on any rom that I flash on my device. After performing any task on CWM then hitting on reboot, it goes to a screen displaying this message.....

Sysdumpping now, keep power on
Reset mode: manual dump
writing 0x1000 bytes to sd file sysdump.core.00

after waiting for it to finish writing, it would ask me to press any key then it goes another screen saying "android is updating" and it would take again a couple of minutes for it to finish..I tried performing "erase flash" on my unit using the upgrade download tool then reflashing a rom / stock rom but same deal..I hope that this issue can still be resolved.

Hi,
I have an LG G2 Model D802 .I bought this from India. I would like to know what is the latest android upgrade available for LG G2 in India. I have been reading some posts that the Lolipop 5.0 is buggy on lg g2 which results in Battery drainage and some more issues. Please tell me is it safe for me to upgrade to the lollipop or if there's any 5.1 or 6.0 update coming for LG G2. Please help. Thanks

How can I see DND status on lock screen? (v5.0.1, Samsung S6)

I have spent ages googling and none of the descriptions work.

This is my current lock screen:

I would like something on it which reminds me that I have Do Not Disturb active.

The phone is rooted but otherwise it came from amazon.co.uk, sim free. It may be an import from Germany.

Amazon traders sell stuff from all over the place; I believe this phone came from Germany. But, like a lot of Amazon stuff it may be a grey import.

Apparently the lock screen is supposed to show some icon when DND is active, but mine always looks like this.

I can't see where the potential config can be. For example under Notifications / Applications there is a long list of apps and which notifications are OK to show for each one, and that might be a starting point, but there is no "app" for the DND feature.

There is a lot on google and a lot of people are trying to solve this.

Working ad blocker? (no root)

Device: Nexus 7 (2013)
OS: Android M 6.0.1

I am looking for a system wide ad blocker that works without root access. I tried Adblock Plus, but that let a whole lot of ads in. AdGuard was better, but ads still slipped through. On iOS, I use an app called Weblock and I haven't seen an ad since the day I installed it. You don't even have to have the app installed for it to work, you just have to enter the PAC URL into your WiFi config. I tried it out on my Nexus, and it did block ads, but it started causing connection issues.

So, what are my non-root, system wide options here other than ADP and AG? I know a lot of people would say "just root it and install AdAway", but I simply don't want to root my device.

Dont get notifications from app Facebook on phone

I have LP xposed and dont get notifications on phone when someone like, post, or give coment , i dont get with sound and dont get anyway notification, only when I go on app I see notifications ,btžut that I get like before where I have Google frame work and get notifications , here dont,I everything turn on, and with phone ,whole notifications I turn on , but still dont get notifications.

Unfortunately app has stopped??always pop up everytime I uninstall or download an app

sir,ma`am...help me for this kind of problem..every time i uninstall or download an application,the error pops rapidly..unfortunately your app has stopped.And i search on youtube to fix this,but none of them helps me. I also go to hard reset my phone but it doesn`t fix it...help me please.

without loader sdcard on your smartphone does not turn on :(

[Q] [REQ] Best Voice Call Accept/Reject App for LG G Stylo LP 5.1.1

I'm just looking for a simple app that will enable this feature, I was trying Smart Call Accept it worked but it annoyingly stopped the phone from ringing 3 seconds into the call...

I just want a simple app like that that will allow me to accept calls by saying "Hello" or whatever, tried Utter it had the option but didn't work and was toooo feature rich, I rarely and barely ever used S Voice so why would I need another like that that I'd hardly fully use.

Anybody got any suggestions, I'm doing this to get rid of the swipe to accept incoming calls on this phone, if it had the tap accept/reject button feature I wouldn't even be looking for a app to do what I'm asking now.

Samsung S4 (GT-I9505) 'back' key not working.

I've rooted my phone and flashed it back to stock 4.4.2 (TWRP recovery) because I wanted more freedom than 5.01 gave me. Everything workeds fine until it did an OTA upgrade back to 5.01.

At this point the back button stopped responding (menu button was fine). When I pressed the menu button both of them lit up, but the back button still did not respond.

I put it back to 4.4.2 again and the buttons worked just as they should, but again after an OTA upgrade the back button stopped responding. Getting tired of this, I flashed various other ROMs from Stock 5.1 to CM12.1 and whichever one I choose the same problem occurs. Only when I put it back to 4.4.2 does everything work normally.

I know I'm not the only one who has experienced this and I'm told that Samsung is aware of it happening in a very few cases, but no cure has appeared and it is getting really frustrating. Today I flashed a really great-looking ROM, which is a port from the S6 for the S4. There are one or two little issues with it, but guess what? Yes, the back button is disabled again. I have switched on the accessibility menu option, which puts a floating icon on the screen which when pressed has a few options, one of which is to go back, but this is only a workaround kludge not a solution to the problem.

Is there an expert out there that can tell me what all the later ROMs have in common which disables the back key? There is nothing intrinsically wrong with the key mechanism, such as it is, because it works perfectly under 4.4.2. I have the feeling that since this only affects a relatively few S4's the problem will not be progressed.

Does anyone out there know what is going on and can anyone help me, please?

Galaxy Note 10.1 (GT-N8000) - Bootloop, No USB Debugging, No Recovery!

Hi, guys!

I'm trying to save my GT-N8000 for a while and nothing! I have USB Debugging disabled, my Recovery get stuck on TeamWin screen, and I'm able to use Download Mode, but my device is not recognized by ADB neither Fastboot.

I've tried a lot of solution the last months, but nothing worked until now. My last shot was to fill Odin3 3.10 with firmware files for PIT, BL, AP, CP and CSC. It finished the process successfully, but it didn't changed anything at all, my GT-N8000 still stuck on boot and I can't get into Recovery and the device is not recognized by ADB neiter Fastboot.

I have all drivers installed on Windows and it recognize my device each time I connect and shows that all drivers are successfully installed.

Any ideas, guys? I'm really exhausted and frustrated! Thank you all in advance!

I have ported miui v7 from galaxy mega to my tab3,
when i try to play a music file that is mp3 musica player says can't play (toast) but if i play an ogg file it can play.
What are the files resposible for mp3 play ?

Unable to Flash Lenovo S939, all kind of processes stop

Hi all,

I tried for a few days and seek no solution, therefore I would like to ask if anyone have such situation and got a solution. :)

Model: Lenovo S939
It was with android 4.2.2 which is the stock rom until I successfully flash it to android 4.4.2 which is the official VIBEUI_V2.0_1507_7.9.1_ST_S939_WC36 about two months ago.
I think I accidently deleted some apps in the phone(I was trying to clear personal contents) and now the phone cannot turn on at all. I am able to connect the phone to my PC using USB and have the driver for it. So I can use SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1524.00.000. I have stock roms S939_S129_140217 and S939_S126_140109 in scatter form.
I flash one of them using the SP tool, but when I finish downloading and reboot, it go back to android vibe UI v2.0, and all sort of system processes stopped continuously, I cannot access the phone at all.

Then I reboot and boot into recovery ( CWM 5 for S939, get from Needroom). I have quite some customs roms saved in my Sd cards which I got from needroom.com:
VIBEUI_V2.0_1501_7.5.1_DEV_S939_WC19.ZIP
VIBEUI_V2.0_1507_7.9.1_ST_S939_WC36.zip
Material_ROM_V3.zip
Loli_Dark_S939_FASTCHIP.zip
I try to flash every one of them, all of them say successful, but when reboot, I boot back to vibe UI 2.0 and all systems processes stopped continuously. I tried to patiently click “OK” and try to access the system setting to enable to USB debugging, but no success.

Have any one got such experience and a solution of it? Spent too much time trying to figure out and appreciate any input.
