iOS-like twitter widget in the notification drawer

No like any 19-year old, I like to tweet, but i'm also lazy. I like a clean desktop without any widgets so I was wondering if there was a way to incorporate a 'tweet' button in the notification drawer like iOS. Now of course that would probably mean re-writing some of the apks but I personally think that would make a nice addition for CM or AOKP(more probable). Perhaps incorporate a facebook button too, or any other social network.

TL;DR Why has some developer not incorporated a 'tweet' button in the notification drawer like iOS.

Also I dont mean to come off sounding pissed off, I'm just curious why it hasn't been an option yet.
