CM11 Apps all wiped and error "System UIDs Inconsistent"?

Hello.

Can anyone help me?

Something happened and my phone rebooted. When getting back I get this error message

"System UIDs Inconsistent"

All my Apps have disappeared and are no longer installed.

I had to sign back into google and they didn't re-appear.

Plus Google Play has disappeared so can't even get the Apps back.

I have tried Fix Permissions in TWRP but no joy!

Any advice on how I can fix my phone would be greatly appreciated.

[Q] Need help to root an LG Splendor. Don't know where to start

Hello,

This is my first time posting here, so please excuse me if I'm posting in the wrong place..
I had an LG Splendor (US730), android version 4.0.4, which I believe is ice cream sandwich. I had this through US Cellular, but after moving on to Verizon and getting an HTC, I gave this phone to my granddaughter. She uses it on WiFi to play games and stuff, there is no cell service connected to it. She is running into the problem now of not being able download games, etc. that she wants because the android version is too old.

I asked LG if there was an update from them that could get this phone to hopefully kitkat so it would be usable for at least awhile longer and they said no, it can only go to ice cream sandwich. She is only 11, my son and I don't want her to have a "real" phone yet.

So, I have been researching rooting and I think if I could figure this out, I probably could do it. I am fairly computer savvy, but not phone savvy. Everywhere I read, leads me to a download in the forums here from Bin4ry, but this specific phone is not listed in the compatible devices for this. I have read in other forums of a few people who tried it and it didn't work, so I am asking you experts here, is there somewhere I can find a way to root this phone so that we can upgrade the android version?

I am somewhat confused as to all the lingo involved in rooting, I understand the basic theory, but roms, etc. , I still haven't quite figured that stuff out. But if I did know I could fix this phone, I can learn it, I just want to be able to do it right. The last thing in the world I want to do is end up ruining her phone because she loves it.

I have hit a couple websites with step by step instructions for this rooting this exact phone, but I don't even know if I can trust random website instructions. So, because you guys seem to be the "go to" place for help I am asking here for help.

[Q] There is no Assets folder in Android Studio?

I'm having problems using Android studio. I can't seem to find the Assets folder anywhere, but my app.iml file says it's in src/main. You can see the attachment to see how my Android Studio looks. You can see that there is no Assets folder.

[Q] /Z500/ Help with adding functional QS tiles

Hi,

I'm working on making SystemUI of my new phone (Acer Liquid Z500) more look like stock one.. Acer UI sucks, but it's close to AOSP so I started tinkering with UI apk and finally found strings for original QS settings. Edited header xml, some other things and it started to look promising. Unfortunately, all I can see after I press QS button is black background. Nothing more, nothing less. I'm pretty sure all of them can be enabled somehow, because all the xml files and png images indicates that.

This is how it looked at the beginning:

Not even GravityBox or XBlast have done anything about it, they're not here.
So I'm politely asking, if there's person with enough experience, could someone help me with this? I'm not that good in theming, unfortunately.

[Q] Problem with ADB Backup and KitKat

Hi! Im developing a software who automatize some process in Android, but i have a really big problem.

Few week ago i bought a Dooggee with Android 4.4.2, and when i run this command:

adb backup com.whatsapp -f backup.ab
There isnt a backup! Only the file backup.ab empty! With only 1 kb! ¿This backup method works in android 4.4.2? Its very important to me to know this, this is my work!

Hi all, my question is... does anyone have any root experience with the iWireless Coolpad 5560s'?

Coolpad 5560s: 10$. Specs aren't amazing but-- its really inexpensive and bricking wouldn't rage up any developers too.. harshly. :) Great project phone for kids to break or whatever other project :).. However.. no known roots/firmware/special mfg codes etc.

my touch has just got inverted .when i touch right side screen it goes left..i flashed the stock rom but still the problem exists..anyone look at the script file( attachments ) at tells me what to do...are touch screen drivers missing or not? confused
already converted from script.bin to script.fex

Hello, I have a Nexus 5 running stock android 5. I have the T-mobile monthly unlimited everything plan (unlimited 4g) with 3 gbs of wifi tethering. Like before I start, since 3 days ago i had no problem what so ever with my tethering. I spoofed the user agent and i never had to worry about going over. Hell i was also able to plan online on Xbox live without reaching the data cap. Until 3 days ago....

T mobile stopped my tethering even when i was spoofing, I always reach the t mobile page where its asking to change your plan or upgrade. I can't do anything now with my tether without it going to my tether data. I tried FoxFi, didn't work, tried the APN setting and added the "dun" parameter. everything on both laptop and my nexus 7 (2013). But nothing works, expect Facebook. for some reason facebook can bypass the tethering, So even after i reach the 3gbs I can still get on facebook on my laptop or android tablet

Everything bit of data that goes through from tethering. T mobile catches it. I don't know how. If anyone else has been experiencing problem let me know I want to create a team to find a way to bypass this.

I have a Nexus 5, a Nexus 9, and a Nexus 10. My 5 and 10 have Cyanogenmod 11, and My Nexus 9 is rooted on stock firmware but I will be putting Cyanogenmod on it once a Lollipop release comes out for it.

In the past when I've tried using Google's backup and restoration feature, it basically tried to restore every app that I'd ever installed on an Android device, and I want to avoid that now. There still doesn't appear to be a way to manually delete old backup data from Google, so I wondered if I enable automatic backups for my N9 now and restore the backups when I switch it to Cyanogenmod, will it actually restore only the stuff I'd been syncing from my Nexus 9 (and most importantly NOT STUFF THAT I'VE ALREADY UNINSTALLED FROM THE N9), or will it try to restore crap from my Nexus 10 and my old Moto Xoom and whatever other devices I've backed up in the past?

HTC desire 816 NFC not functional after RUU

My desire 816 was acting up after I restored a backup (screen wouldn't turn on during media playback, systemui full crash) so I relocked and ran an RUU back to full stock but now NFC isn't functional, if I try to turn it on the quick setting toggle just blinks and the nfc button looks inactive on the more options page. Any idea why this is happening? Virgin mobile desire 816 a5_chl

Recently got a htc one x (international) and i successfully rooted and unlocked bootloader today,also installed twrp v2.1.7
Which i think is the latest,but each time i try installing a rom i get the exact same error..i have tried three different roms
its all same error...erro
