Hello XDA,

I have accidentally installed the wrong cyanogenmod port on my phone. It was a port for the LG L40 D170, but I have a D160.
The device installed cyanogenmod succesfully and it isn't bricked. Stange but okay, at least it's not dead.
I do have problems with it, it recognizes too less ram, photo gallery doesn't work, wifi doesn't turn on, camera doesn't work, mic doesn't work, and the google play store doesn't work. So I want to go back to stock. Does anyone know how to do that? I read something about flashing a KDZ but I can't find the KDZ file of this phone (D160) anywhere. Please help me! :(

Sorry for making a topic so similar to other posts but I couldn't manage to find a serious answer about this problem.
First off,I rooted it with root genius.Then I divided my 16 gb sd card into 2 partitions of about 7,5 gb each.The problem is that android 4.2.2 doesn't support any method of moving apps to sd with the given by android option where many other android phones have.I wrote to htc support asking about this but they blamed google and a solution wasn't found.I am looking for a way to install an *.apk file from my sd card directly to my sd card because my internal storage is under 1,5 gb which for instance restricts me from installing hearthstone which is an around 1,7 gb game.Every suggestion helps.:)

Okay so my device is soft bricked, I get the "Firmware encountered an issue" message, and I can only go into download mode. I'm trying to restore to a stock 4.4.2 firmware via Odin but it always fails. I realized its because my current binary is custom and it says system status is custom. Knox warrenty void: 1. Anybody can tell me what I'm doing wrong and need to do? I initially rooted it with CF-Auto-Root-konawifi-konawifixx-gtn5110 btw

Hi i recently rooted my zenfone. then installed gl tools. then hanged. rebooted it then it stucked on boot loop. Now i am stuck on boot loop (before my fw is latest) didn't knew the latest update didn't have recovery :(

*Tried recovery access but it says no command
*Did fastboot flash recovery nothing happened.

help anyone please. 4days zenfone bricked :(

So my Uncle recently bought me this tablet. (It's not a ventos or breeze) I managed to find a root for it on some german forum which I had to use Google Translate on. It required flashing a ZIP in stock recovery to install SuperSU. Judging by that and the name of the root, it appears to have either an Allwinner A31 or Allwinner A31s chip. I'm trying to find a Custom ROM for it. I looked in build.prop in an app called "Build Prop Editor", and ro.build.product (codename as it would seem) = fiber-q7s. The ICOO iCou7GT has the codename fiber-q7; I don't know if that would work with this device. I'd like to bump this thing from Jelly Bean 4.2.2 to KitKat or Lollipop, and potentially expand the data partition. I have a microSD card (8GB). Are there any custom ROM(s) for this device? I'd prefer to have a ROM, but if I only can have root, I suppose GravityBox and Xposed will have to do (which I already have).

Hello,im having problem with sim unlock, my phone is S OFF and im using PG58DIAG method,before i tried Terminal method and ADB but both won't work,and last option for me was PG58DIAG method,i saw that many people success to unlock their phones,but when i boot my phone in bootloader i get this error "Parsing....[PG58DIAG.nbh] [1] MFG_DIAG Security fail! Update Fail! Press <POWER> to reboot.",my phone have Android Revolution HD Sensation 7.3 :confused:

Hello everyone.I am using i9500.I've tried nearly every special Rom especially CM but every time I faced with serious and annoying problems for example one of them wifi forgetting. When I boot my phone it keeps forgetting and I am getting crazy and one of them is calling problem. It didn't ring when when I was calling and then he or she picked up the phone he/she heard an annoying voice but I heard nothing. Can someone help me?

Hey guys.
So I managed to unbrick my MTK phone by flashing the backup.
However,the DATA wasnt backed up,so adb isnt enabled anymore,and I dont have the Settings.apk in my system.
And the Setup Wizard keeps crashing.
And without adb I cant install CWM and flash another rom.
Is there any way i can get the ADB enabled with a command?

Hi iv had this phone for a few months now and i am having a horrible time finding any information about it, its like its in limbo
has any one attempted to root it i have found no information about rooting it or any one even trying to root it
is it possible that not many of these devices were made and im one of the few people that have one?

Hi

I have a problem i restored my phone "Xperia Z3" to factory settings. Then i had alot of problems with to getting my sms back. I have done a back up.
Now i can only see my reciewed messages and mms but not the ones that i have send.
On the stock sms app i can see everything including my sent but it crashes all the time when i scroll. I cannot see it in hang out or google messages or in textra. Before i did the restore i did use textra with ios emoji plugin is it maybe because of that?

Using extract-files.sh and proprietary-files.txt works.

Is there a script that pulls all files without having to rely on a proprietary-files.txt ?

I installed the stock rom to try to fix this but it still doesn't work. I have tried to clear data/cache, uninstalling updates, restarting, and all of these at once. It use to work when I did those things but it doesn't anymore. My google accounts have also been syncing forever and no matter what I do they don't stop. This also happens in chrome where it either says sync error or it stays saying setup in process. I really don't know what else to do I don't wanna loose all of my data again! I have an LG G3 LS990.

:confused: Hello. I'm hoping you can help me out. I currently have a Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX running Android 4.1.2. I have recently loaded SuperSU and BusyBox. Before the BusyBox load, my phone was rooted. After loading the program, I no longer had root, nor could I re-root my device. I'm attaching screenshots of what's now going on. I was told that, according to the screenshots, that my problem has to do with SuperSU. I would like to restore root to my device, but am not sure what to do or how.

Hi,

I just bought a new micro SD (64gb SDXC) and decided to format it to ext4. I successfully copied my files to it with Ubuntu, but now I can't write to it from my phone. However it is mounted automatically and I can read the files just fine. In TWRP read and write work both.
I think it is an issue with the permissions, but I have no idea which to set. The current permissions are mostly root:root with 755. The sdcard is mounted to /mnt/media_rw/sdcard1 and then via fuse to /storage/sdcard1 (with options changing the owner to sdcard_r).
My phone is a Sony Xperia Z1 compact running the latest SlimKat 4.4 weekly, but I don't think that makes a difference.

Has anyone experience with this or an idea what to do?

EDIT: maybe it isn't the best solution, but it works if I change the owner of /mnt/media_rw/sdcard1 and everything inside to media_rw

Hello everybody,
Excuse me for my english. English is'nt my native language.
I have an Accent Tablet. I tried to root this with Towel root.apk.
After the root process, the tablet was restart.
Since, i was a looping boot.
I did a hard reset, the problem remains.
Do not exist a tools to do a firmware dumper ? or what solution exist to fix the problem ?
